  • GPRS Server (C#, MS SQL Server / 2005):
    xPTGPRSServer is a windows service application acting as a TCP (connection oriented) server for remote telematics (AVL) devices mounted in the vehicles. The AVL devices connect and send GPS data to xPTGPRSServer and xPTGPRSServer identifies the AVL and grabs the information out of GPS data and writes to company databases.

  • SMS Server (C#, MS SQL Server / 2005):
    MxServices is a windows service application acting as SMS server using a local GSM modem. MxServices reads messages sent by remote telematics (AVL) devices mounted in the vehicles from the GSM modem. MxServices identifies the AVL device and grabs the information from the GPS data sent by SMS and saves to relevant company database.

  • Routing Application (C#, MS SQL Server / 2005):
    xPTRoute is a desktop application to design/assign journey routes for vehicles that it has to travel on also it can assign some outlets to the route which this vehicle must visit during its journey on the designed route. xPTRouteService is a windows application which periodically checks the new incoming data (sent by AVL devices) and analyzes that data against the designed/scheduled route and if vehicle violated the route OR visited less outlets then it generates and sends an email alarm for fleet managers.

  • Exception Alarm (C#, MS SQL Server / 2005):
    xPTExceptionAlarm is a windows service that periodically checks and analyze the information (sent by AVL devices) stored in company database and generates and sends the email alerts to fleet managers if vehicle commits night time driving, extra travel time, extra fuel usage, extra idle time and extra idle time during journey.

  • TeleBudgie Web (C#, ASP.NET, MS SQL Server / 2005):
    Web Application for management of companies, sites, categories, assets, users etc. Vehicle Tracking Reports for normal customers and Special Admin Reports for administrators. This involves developing customized front end as well as writing complex stored procedures in MS MS SQL Server/2005.

  • TeleBudgie Client (C#, MS SQL Server / 2005):
    Desktop Application having cut down version of the same TeleBudgie Web application with limited reports etc.

  • Class Libraries (C#, MS SQL Server / 2005):
    Developing different class libraries use in TeleBudgie Web and Client for billing, managing entities, authentications and verifications etc.

  • SQL Server 2005 Database Administration:
    Setting up daily management plans for backup etc, setting up replication & ensuring continuous availability of data.

  • xPTGoogleMaps (C#, MS SQL Server / 2005):
    Web application for plotting single vehicle, history trail, geofences, labels, roads, route, route violation etc on Google Maps.

Remarks: Yasir Akram originally joined us as a Junior Software Developer and was promoted to "Senior Software Engineer" in November 2008 for showing excellent capabilites in the stated fields.
